Incisions can be hidden in the upper eyelid crease and inside the lower eyelid (the "transconjunctival blepharoplasty"). A blepharoplasty typically has very little discomfort. Some swelling and bruising is expected, but it can be minimized with cold packs and over-the-counter medications. A blepharoplasty can give your eyes a vibrant, alert, and refreshed appearance that will make you look as good as you feel.

The estimated cost of a typical blepharoplasty is $4,336. This price includes the surgeon's fee ($2,850), anesthesiologist's fee ($1,486), the surgery center facility fee and when applicable, an overnight 23 hour stay at the surgery center and all follow-up care by Dr. Fata.. However if you choose to have lid tightening as well the total cost would be $4,662. In the case of multiple procedures, a discount may be applied..
