This patient was in her mid-thirties when she saw Dr. Fata for excess, sagging tissue of the labia of her vagina which had been present since she was a teenager. She also had noticeable asymmetry with more excess tissue on her left. Dr. Fata performed a Labiaplasty using the Alter Central Wedge Technique. Three months after surgery she was happy except for the fact that she still had asymmetry with more tissue on the left. Dr. Fata revised the left side as an office procedure and her photos are shown before and three months after her revision surgery. This patient illustrates the advantage of the Central Wedge over the "Trim" technique because "touch-up" revisions are easy to do without distorting the natural contour of the labia.
