Whether they're planning a vacation or anticipating summer, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon Dr. Joseph Fata in Indianapolis, Indiana often finds himself advising patients about the best ways to achieve the perfect beach body.
Each patient’s body, face and skin needs are unique. But as a general rule, achieving your ideal physique throughout the ages and stages of life will demand a savvy combination of diet and exercise along with proactive lifestyle choices.
Then, you can maintain and enhance your physical goals with assistance from some variety of cosmetic enhancements or plastic surgery.
Back at the beach, here are three bikini-ready tips that the bathing beauties who star in TV’s upcoming Victoria’s Secret Swim Special (airing Feb. 26th on CBS) shared with Vogue magazine:
- Swimsuit Model Tip No. 1: Workout year-round. “Once I feel the burn in my abs and glutes, I [know] I am getting into shape,” says the aptly-named Puerto Rican model Joan Smalls.
- Swimsuit Model Tip No. 2: Cut the carbs. Although she concedes that it’s tough to maintain, longtime Victoria’s Secret Angel Behati Prinsloo from Namibia avoids pasta and bread. “I feel lighter and better,” she tells Vogue.
- Swimsuit Model Tip No. 3: Bronze before the beach. These swimsuit models revealed that they often lather themselves in self-tanner the night before a photo shoot. “It hides imperfections and gives your skin a gorgeous [sheen],” says Alessandra Ambrosio.
