Will Insurance Pay for a Mommy Makeover?
Insurance will not pay for mommy makeover surgery. This is an elective procedure that may include breast enhancement, body contouring, and vaginal rejuvenation, none of which are typically considered medically necessary. However, healthcare lenders, such as CareCredit®, can provide flexible payment options to help make the procedure available to women who would prefer to avoid the upfront expense of surgery.
What’s Included in the Cost of a Mommy Makeover?
At Renaissance Plastic Surgery, all of the costs associated with your procedure are included in the fee you are quoted during your initial consultation. This includes:
- Dr. Fata’s surgical fee
- All surgical facility fees, including operating room and recovery room costs
- The anesthesiologist’s fee
- All pre and postoperative visits
Following your procedure, you will visit our office for follow-up visits to help ensure everything is progressing as planned. These visits also allow Dr. Fata the opportunity to assess your recovery and help you determine when it is safe to resume all normal activities.
Most women can resume light-duty activities and jobs within one to two weeks, but more strenuous activities may need to be avoided for up to eight weeks. Your follow-up visits give you the chance to ask questions about the activities you are personally interested in and Dr. Fata the ability to provide the individual attention and care you deserve.
