Woman receiving a dermal filler injection in her cheekJuvederm is a dermal filler that is used to add volume to the face and lips. The active ingredient in Juvederm is hyaluronic acid, a natural substance found in every tissue and fluid of the body. When concentrated and injected directly into the skin, this same substance has been shown to add volume, eliminating fine lines, reducing the appearance of deep wrinkles, and producing a softer, fuller, and more youthful appearance.
