This 42 year-old woman with a long history of sun exposure had a loss of elasticity of her upper eyelids with sagging of the eyelid skin on to her lashes. She also had moderate bags under her lower eyelids due to prominence of the fat pads behind her eyelid muscles. She is shown before and 6 months after upper and lower blepharoplasty (cosmetic eyelid surgery). Note the reappearance of a clean, youthful crease between her upper eyelids and eyebrows and improved contours of her lower eyelids.
